When you hire a drywall repair contractor, it is important to consider these questions:

What is your process for blending an existing surface with the new one?

If you have an area which receives a lot of light across it, an experienced drywall expert would need to skim the entire connected surface. Otherwise the patch will "flash" or show after you paint it. A common technique for sprayed finishes, the repair technician will texture the area two times, to build up the texture.

How much time will the drywall patch take?

For all small repairs, repair work is limited to two or three holes (anywhere from a few inches by a few inches up to two or three square feet. Time is obviously job dependent. Trutex will deploy a repair technician to your location to estimate your project before work is started.

What are your masking methods?

Generally, a non tearing adhesive tape or paper tape is used for masking. Special projects can arise do to unforeseen external factors. In this case, a Trutex drywall technician will determine the best method for your unique situation.

How are you going to protect my furniture or existing finishes?

The goal of Trutex is to leave your home the same as when we arrived. All proper furniture covering methods will be used. Drop cloths for furniture as well as removal of as much dust as possible are included with all projects.
